I knew there were robots being trained to be more efficient killers! My advice if you see one…Kick it while it’s down, which appears to be roughly half the time. The other half of the time? Run!

According to this article at arstechnica.com, AOL’s dropping customer count has finally prompted some axe action from Time Warner. TW is selling off all Europe dial-up infrastructure, making many AOL paid services free, and firing around 5,000 employees. Yikes…Sounds pretty serious. The article says that they will go the advertising route to make up for the loss of revenue from their pay services. I wonder if they’ll still send out those neat little coasters with their logo on them for me to use…
